Memory Loss is one of the most talked-about movies released in 2009, attracting audiences with its cinematic storytelling and memorable performances.
Yet Ono is stunned by the power of the memory enhancement device developed by Tatsuo, realizing that in terms of academic ability, he can no longer compete. He then harshly criticizes the device’s flaws, emotionally cornering Tatsuo. The original script, written in 1985, was intended as a follow-up to his 7th film “The Equation of the Fog”, but was never produced due to various circumstances. After 24 years, it was finally adapted into film with full cooperation from current members of the Koshigaya Campus Film Research Club.
